LIAM O'BRIEN Liam is a founding partner and vice president of Guild, and like Dave McLoughlin, overseas project teams and operations. Liam’s construction knowledge is both detailed and comprehensive. After a four year apprenticeship program and working several years in his home town of Dublin, his trade skills took him to the Channel Island of Jersey before settling here in California and working for RJ Dailey, a premier home builder in Los Altos. There’s little difference between Liam and Dave’s roles at Guild since they both operate at the highest standards of professionalism and craftsmanship — adept in communicating with stakeholders, orchestrating all of the various teams of skilled crafts people, and managing budgets and schedules that only comes from years of experience. And if you know Liam, he does it all with a smile on his face.
