Spot On

Some people say that windows make or break a house. Placement, symmetry and proportion are all paramount in the architects vision, certainly in classic Roman-Italian architecture, so we as builder-collaborator play an intricate role in helping to “get it right” from selection of core materials to executing the finished detail.

Like the stonework, the windows have all the hallmarks of European craftsmanship both in construction and design detail. However, they were hand-brush painted before leaving the factory requiring extra (extra) care during installation to avoid any mishaps. With building of the stone arched surrounds to come, there will be much precaution taken to keep these windows in pristine condition through the remainder of the project (are you listening guys?). So here are the windows, done right. In design, emblematic of a time and culture. To us, a beautiful display of our intertwined relationship with architect and artisans.
